Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Joshua 1:8
I had an eventful week last week and I’m just excited about Art in general. Yea, it’s a dream. So here’s just a recap of my adventures in Art.
I met with two very talented very lovely Artisans just oozing with talent and creativity. I’m so thankful to Jesus to just be able to meet different people in different walks of life.
One of the Artist, Edie Cohen works out of an Artist Studio located in Durham.
That’s her cutie pie side kick his name is Jojo! He’s the cutest!
This is Edie, I took a quick snap shot before I left, she’s amazingly humble and I was honored that she was willing to meet with me. Her website: http://www.zhibit.org/ediecohn
Then earlier on the week of last week, I traveled to Apex to meet with, Kathy Ammon, she’s the second artist I met last week. Although I don’t know Edie’s faith, as I’m still just getting to know her, she did tell me she married into a Jewish family and how she was inspired by the synagogues in a few of her pieces, incredible story!
It was great meeting both ladies and I feel amazingly honored and loved by God. Thank you Lord, Thank you Jesus.
Kathy, had told me how she’s inspired by God, by Jesus. She told me how she’s felt a call on her life and how she’s been lead to pursue an Arts Ministry called, Threshold Arts Ministry. I’m also just getting to know her and her Ministry. GOD is GOOOD!
You can see her art work on either side of the cross. She was just giving me a wonderful tour of the church, where her studio is currently located, and the story behind the rocks at the foot of the cross. HONORED!
She was so amazing and so passionate about Jesus that it was truly an inspiration. She truly wants to do it God’s way and not her own way. 🙂
Kathy is also very talented and has events planned Every 3rd Wednesday of each Month. Her Website: http://www.kathyammon.com
These events are open to any and everybody. There’s actually a gathering tonight at 7pm – 9pm Located in Apex at the United Methodist Church near Downtown Apex. Come out if you’re able to attend!!

God is moving in amazing ways with the Threshold ARTS Ministry….What a
great turnout last month…. with excellent feedback and support…. God
called people from different places, churches and denominations, and
together, a plethora of creative skills, visions and dreams were shared
amongst us. God is most definitely up to something….
Since the Arts Gathering is ‘a vision in progress’, we are excited to see
how God moves in the coming months…. who He calls forward…. where He
guides each of us, both within this creative community we are establishing
and outside, and wherever He leads us, individually and together, as we
step into His plan.
If you didn’t make it last month we hope you can join us this time.
Refreshments and fellowship will start the evening off and then we will move
into inspirational conversation, creativity and vision sharing.
Koinonia – Unity in the Spirit through Fellowship and Community.
Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is
faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and
good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of
doing, but encouraging one another-and all the more as you see the Day
approaching. Hebrews 10: 24-25
