God and the City…Taking a mini Break…

But it was to us that God revealed these things by his Spirit. For his Spirit searches out everything and shows us God’s deep secrets. 1 Corinthians 2:10

HALLELUJAH!!!

Hey! How are you?! I’m hoping amazing! GOD IS GOOD! Amen!

I just wanted to let you all know that I’m HEALED! HALLELUJAH!!!! Thank you JESUS! AMEN! I had my 6 week postpartum and everything checked out ok! YAY!

Blessed beyond measure. I want to thank you all who prayed for me and who care about me. Thank you all so much for your kind words and gestures, they are most definitely appreciated.

This week I’ve decided to take a mini Break. Just to catch up on a few things and to be Still for a while. I have so much on my plate and I have to give it my all. I want to do things the right way and I don’t want to rush anything that GOD has laid on my heart.

I know this is the best decision I can make at this time, But you can also catch me on FB Natural True Beauty | Instagram NaturalTrueBeauty or LindaMendible | Twitter @NaturallyTrue or @LindaMendible You may find me posting or it may be a bit silent. But I am taking a break from posting on this blog.

I believe, if  you’re going to do anything for GOD you have to do the best you can. To give it your all. This break is me taking a leap of faith to do what it is I need to do with ALL MY HEART.

I feel as though I’m going to another level, another zone and I need to prepare my mind, heart, and everything else for this.

Truthfully, I’ve been fighting the urge to give up. I’ve been fighting the “it’s to hard” and the “I can’ts” with Phil 4:13.

I’ve been having a pressure on me to do things a certain way and I know this week is a time I can catch up on things that must be caught up on. Continue to pray for me, continue to pray for Natural True Beauty and it’s future.

I am not giving up. No, not at all.

I’ve noticed when we look at the exterior of any one who is on top, or any great thing, we don’t see the work that is done behind the scenes. The sacrifices that are made or being made.

This day for me starts the beginning of breaking through a wall. I can do all things through Christ. I WILL SUCCEED in Jesus name!

My hope is to remain constant. Although this may seem like a step back, on the contrary it’s a step forward and a step I must take in order for everything to fall into place.

You know, any dream. Any accomplishment you want to purse it’s not easy, it’s not going to be easy and you are going to have to have FAITH and Fight through the doubt. Having patience and each day giving it your all.

No one says this life was easy. No one is going to hold your hand and walk you through the tough time, no one. But you have a choice! You can rise up, beyond the doubt, beyond the name calling and rise up with CHRIST. It’s your choice and your choice alone. You can continue on being the “Victim” or you can take up the Power God has given you, the power that is within you. Yes you have to work at it, yes you will have nights you will cry, nights you will be exhausted. But if you continue for GOOD, for LOVE, for PASSION. It’s worth it. But only YOU can change where you are, only YOU can change your life. What are you doing?

Until Next time! Ciao!

Bible Study: Healing 2 of 3

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, Colossians 1:15

Last week we were going over the Lord’s Prayer. It’s how Jesus had taught us how to pray and I believe it is an important factor when asking for healing, or anything actually. He teaches us how to boldly approach the throne and who God is to us. Our FATHER. Holy is His name.

Hollow – honor as holy.

A name in the bible is incredibly important and I believe when we say the second phrase of the prayer is also acknowledging and honoring God as HOLY.

Jesus Christ makes a bold statement, saying that the Kingdom of Heaven is within us. Meaning within reach and it is not something we can receive in this physical world but the spiritual.

When God’s Kingdom is within us, Truly God’s will is established as well.

When Jesus says “On earth as it is in heaven” what comes to my mind is that God wants us to remain in His Love, Peace and Joy.

Give us today our daily bread.

And forgive us our debts,

as we also have forgiven our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation,

but deliver us from the evil one. Matthew 6:12-13

Give us today our daily bread – In the bible Jesus tells us not to worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will have it’s own troubles. He also refers to Himself as the Bread of life.

This quote is important because it refers to GOD being our source of life, and calling out to Him to feed us. (It also reminds me of Moses and manna raining down, but that’s for another session 🙂 .)

And forgive us our debts as we also have forgiven our debtors – I not only believe this to be us asking for forgiveness but also to acknowledge that we need forgiveness and we are not perfect that we indeed are sinners. In this we are also faced with the reality in what we ask, questioning ourselves in who we are. Allowing ourselves to be transformed in how we treat others and also how do we forgive? If you are God fearing this allows you to enter into change. We are not to different from one another this too has to be acknowledged. If you truly mediate on this prayer you will find yourself thinking about many things including “Whom do I need to forgive.” This prayer cleans the mind and allows us to know who we are in God’s sight, acknowledge that we need God, forgiveness and mercy.

Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. – I believe this phrase allows us to trust in God for His Guidance and His protection from the evil one. Knowing that “the evil one” has no authority in our lives. We have been delivered by the blood of Jesus Christ.

This Prayer is so powerful. But what I would like to also point out that it builds FAITH!

When wanting anything, when asking God for anything, this Prayer allows your mind and heart to be opened when done the right way. Not paraphrasing nor going through it speedily, but by going through each sentence knowing you are speaking directly to God, understanding the words you are saying and allowing for Jesus to enter your heart.

The closest thing I can compare this prayer to is Church. We prepare our hearts with worship and then we receive God’s word. In this case we prepare our minds and heart to ask for what ever it is we are wanting including Healing opening up the channels to receive God’s whispers and God’s sovereignty over our lives.

Next week I will be “putting it in a nutshell”

PEP TALK! Have Faith…

His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.’ Matthew 25:23

 photo afd768ea-47fe-4e7c-b92a-7dd80f484123_zps15fb99f5.jpg

In life we can decide whether or not we truly believe GOD. Not only in the great things but also in the small. When we remain faithful in our walk with GOD allowing every detail of our lives to surrender to the Holy Spirit we truly start to commune with GOD in a unique way. Letting go of our pride and letting God’s whispers touch our hearts allowing our selves to be moved by His grace. It is only then we start to truly see and come to total surrender.

Today know, as you read and think of the areas you need to cast down on to Jesus, understand that just that small desire is of great worth in God’s sight. That driver you let in on your lane, that smile you gave to someone who seemed bitter. All these things you deem small GOD notices them. Including the sacrifices you make on a daily basis to come closer to HIM. Know that you are not alone and He’s with you in every step. Have faith that God’s got your back no matter what. ♥

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9

Until Next time! Ciao!

My Point of view…Relationships

So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets. Matthew 7:12

 photo l_5e5bb5d3c17a4ae989e3e031c20ff7a1.jpg

You know, before my hubby and I were married, I was a single non-christian girl. It’s a different world out there, and I’ve learned a few things.

1. There is nothing better than a GOD fearing man.

2. GOD is always first then everything else and..

3. Have FUN!

Sometimes, many times we take life to seriously and yes somethings are detrimental and we need to make, on a frequent basis, decisions that affect our daily lives.

But one of the best things in following Christ is totally relying everything on Him. Casting those burdens upon Him.

Knowing Romans 8:28 and establishing, His word on our hearts.

As a woman within a relationship I have found that GOD gives us wisdom on so many levels and on so many different issues that may arise.

But this post is not about Marriage it’s about Relationships. I know what you are thinking, what’s the difference? Well relationships first start with ourselves. To be quite honest I’m tired of seeing woman who are in unhealthy ones.

Let me clarify…I have had the great honor and pleasure of consoling women through breakups, through relationship related decisions, etc.

One thing that I find many women suffer from is the fear of being alone. I think this is a very unhealthy view of relationships in General. Because the most important relationship is the one with You.

 photo 2012-01-14165405-1-2-1.jpg

If you’re afraid to be alone, YOU have to confront this issue. Because once you face the fear of being alone you are free to be…well, not alone.

I’ve found that many women may think they know how they should treat others but forget how to first know how they themselves should be treated, especially within a relationship. Any type of relationship.

Too many women look towards a man or the relationships they have with others, to dictate their self worth. This is a distorted perception of self worth and it must be addressed.

Exhibit A: Once I got rid of the fear of being alone and actually learned the hard way, that it is better to be alone than to be with someone who does not love you, I began to appreciate myself more, in turn appreciating others more.

I began to have peace with the thought that ‘being alone is not the worst thing in the world’, which reflected in my decisions especially with the opposite sex.

Every woman and man, should have an opportunity of totally being themselves with just them, learning who they are, and not being afraid of being alone, because the truth is the opportunity to be with someone will always come. photo MeWiththebackofthebag.jpg

I hope that we, as individuals are looking to develop healthy relationships.

I hope as you take this journey in life that you accept who you are in this moment because GOD accepts you no matter what. Learn to be and deal with your own self in a loving and kind manner and you will find that you will have relationships that are more healthy and you will also have the confidence to say “No, I will not allow to be treated this way”. You will be able to not accept certain relationships that can deteriorate you that prevent you from having healthy relationship, because you have a healthy relationship and viewpoint of yourself.

Let go of the fear of being alone, because with GOD, with Jesus you are never alone.

Just my point of view,

Until Next time! Ciao!

God & the City…

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.  1 John 4:7
 photo e4a64413-eeb9-4c5f-95b3-ac943b9380b3_zps7c86b006.jpg

I can’t help but meditate on the goodness of God. We all go through trials, some more difficult than others. I’ve recently began to look at these moments as ‘God is working something inside of me.’

I remember, when a situation just didn’t make any sense and I just couldn’t see past the bad, I would say “Lord, help me I can’t see the good in this, but I know all things turn out for the good for those who love God Romans 8:28″.

These days although I can’t see, I walk by faith. I used to think that the “Good” that God is doing will manifest itself in the physical. But As I become more mature in my walk in GOD, sometimes it’s not in the physical that we will see the good, but within ourselves.

Before we actually see the good in the physical it will first begin within us, in the Spirit.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; Proverbs 3:5

It’s true when someone says, be kind, we are all going through a tough battle. Life may seem unfair at times but to be honest I Hold on to Jesus Christ. If I didn’t I don’t know where I’d be. Honestly.

 photo IMG_6976_zps657b0861.jpg

Last week I met up with a friend who has a beautiful growing lil baby girl, I believe shes 8 months, and going through the screaming phase, which quite honestly really isn’t that bad, and we decided to fellowship over a cup of coffee. we went to Starbucks.

Let me tell you, we were not received with open arms sadly. 😦 I don’t understand what goes through people’s minds when they see parents out and about with their child. I believe they should be applauded. Seriously! People should just have confetti and awesomeness in their pockets to throw up in the air in celebration that these parents finally made it out the house, with a side of handshake and a pat on the back. I’m just sayin!

Do you know how long it takes to prepare a child baby to go out? The load one must bare called a “diaper” bag! It’s like, extremely heavy.

I used to wonder how a mother can carry her baby like its nothing with one arm, all day long. This mystery no longer eludes me, but I digress.

The thing is, my point is, what I’m trying to say is, why are people so mean? Wait let me stop, let’s be real here why are women unfriendly to one another?

At the coffee shop the mean looks were mostly from women, if not all from them. The men at the cafe actually acted like it didn’t phase them. And a few complimented my friend on how adorable her little girl was.

Only by the grace of Almighty God did we smile and just continued to talk on the goodness of God and the wonderful blessings He’s doing in our lives. One thing I have learned is to pick your battles and this was not a battle that would of represented Christ well, if we decided to make a scene, complain or directly speak with these women. Unless it was a sincere “God bless you.” Added with a smile.

If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat; if he is thirsty, give him water to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head, and the LORD will reward you. Proverbs 25:21-22

Thank the LORD JESUS CHRIST!

Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken. Psalm 62:2

So, that being said I’d like to add that we have to be lights in this darkness. Believing that in loving one another is the greatest weapon we have against the enemy. That Prayer is a way we can break these strong holds. Although they may not know what they do, it is through our love and prayer that people in the dark can be reached by the light.

The LORD is far from the wicked, but he hears the prayer of the righteous. Proverbs 15:29

On that note, pray for me also, tomorrow is my 6 week appointment, and if you have been keeping up with my journey, I haven’t had any Chills or fever since the last and I pray to Almighty God that I am healed in Jesus name. Pray for me ya’ll!!!

I’m a great believer in prayer. I have seen God move mountains because of prayer!

Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14
