God & the City… 3 year Anniversary!

If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 1 John 1:8

photo DSCF1609_zps1dc7ed57.jpgWe celebrated our 3 year Anniversary along with Emanuel at a restaurant that my hubby says has the best plantains  I love me some platanos 😀

Last week the hubby, our baby boy and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary in being married and fully dedicating our lives to Jesus.

It’s been incredible and I wouldn’t change anything for the world.

What we learned so far is that GOD is crazy, crazy faithful that is. hehe.

I’m learning more and more that God’s WORD is the real deal.

God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it? Numbers 23:19

I’ve also learned that God truly supplies, He truly sustains and He truly loves us! Amen.

I remember when we were at a point that it was difficult to pay the rent, living from paycheck to paycheck and nothing in the savings. Bad credit, bills to pay, car problems, trouble, no car and there was a point we almost got evicted from our apartment back when we first started living together.

I know it says God gives double for your trouble. But honestly, I feel like He gives more than double

Once we decided to truly dedicate our lives to Christ all that changed and we are giving more than we ever did! With just about the same income we had!! Our rent has increased, we have a new bundle of joy ( I love you Emanuel!), 2 cars that are paid for and currently getting our credit straight. We have money in the savings and some to splurge. Not to mentioned dreams we thought were dead, we are now pursuing with a passion and by the grace of God.

We constantly declare God’s word in our lives.

Thank you JESUS!

Our own family give us gripes about our beliefs at times. But no one, nor nothing nor any situation can tear us from GOD. In fact at times situations/problems and even good times draw us closer to Him. Because we know we can’t do anything without Jesus and every good gift is from GOD. We have seen it in our lives. Another reason why we boldly proclaim the Good News.

On hearing this, Jesus said to them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” Mark 2:17

We’ve seen and tasted that the Lord is good. We are so incredibly thankful and grateful for God saving us both. You see, we both were living reckless lives. Not really caring about the consequences or those around us.

We have definitely matured and have come a long way from who we were to who we are. We are humbled every day and know that we are not better than anyone and we truly are blessed to be where we are.

I’m incredibly blessed to have Jesus in my life, a husband who wants to be faithful to his wife, to do the right thing and love me, and his family the right way. Not because he loves me but because he loves GOD with all His heart.

We’ve gone through ups and downs as anyone. But when Jesus is your intercessor, everything just falls into place.

I know I am nothing without GOD. I ask GOD daily to Help me Love my Husband, my Baby Boy and my Family. Asking help and guidance daily for my business, my calling, my ministry. I’m not a perfect person, not in the slightest and I fail Him daily.

But I truly believe and have seen God’s grace. How He protects us, Loves us and blesses us despite our failures. I’m totally, madly in love with Jesus. I pray that HE will always be my CORE, my center, my everything in Jesus name!

I hope and pray that Jesus will forever be in the center of your Hearts, Minds, Children, Relationships and all that you do.

If He is not, I pray that God reveals the truth to you. ♥

Thank you everyone for your prayers. Thank you everyone for reading, supporting and believing.

We know greater things are yet to come. Be blessed today.

Always remember that you don’t lose anything by following Christ other than sin. Because once you believe, it is by grace you are saved and sin no longer has a stronghold on you. AMEN!

Until Next Time! Ciao!!

Hosanna in the Highest!!!

For His Love & Glory,

  1. well . . . Romans 11 gives the game plan by which he achieves the goal. Jesus is our root, the vine that upholds the branches. As we continue to trust in Jesus to do the work in and through us, his Sap, the Holy Spirit, brings forth his fruits: joy, love, peace, longsuffering . . . John 15 and Galatians 5. So God’s love is both kind and severe. Kind if we keep trusting in Jesus, but He will use severe means if we fumble the ball. It’s all filtered through his great love for us for God is love. The book of Hebrews tells us He is a consuming fire. He burns all the wood and hay we’ve come to trust in over Him. He’s a jealous God ablaze with love and intent on having a bride refined in his fiery love where her love for Him will come out purified and whole-hearted. We need not fear the fire or waters for He has said He will walk with us and we will not be consumed. Just like Jesus saved us from an awful collision. Just like Jesus carried you through that angry crowd. Just like Jesus was with Reuben as Reuben was partaking of his sufferings.
