For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
Lord willing, See you all next year!
Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect. Matthew 5:48
The hubby took this at Redress Raleigh Fashion Expo that took place November 16th!

Not only with the excitement of Doing a fashion show, but also with all that comes from having a start-up business, a little one and a family.
Redress Raleigh Fashion Expo 2013
Yes I was and am thankful that God provided a way for me to do and be apart of something amazing. Not only have I been blessed to partake in this endeavor but I have also been blessed to use my gifts and talents to honor God.
It was amazing for me, after receiving so many no’s. That people actually wanted to work with me and be apart of something that I am doing even if I talk a lot about Jesus and so much about GOD.
I was flabbergasted, that not only was I able to do a cool show that I was also able to hook up with Molly
from Still being Molly
and Dani with King BMX,
To praise GOD with Hillsong, like right after the event on November 18th!
It. Was. AWESOME Hillsong in Greensboroh November 18th
I was over joyed and knew this was all GOD!!!! I have no idea what GOD has in store for me, for those around me and my household. Praise God, thank you Jesus!!
It was a full house ya!
It wasn’t until 2:30 in the morning feeling over whelmed with business, home life and thinking of my precious gift from God (my currently 3month baby boy) that I received revelation and God gave me peace.
After throwing myself in His precious alter of grace, clutching my bible and sincerely begging Jesus to help me the same words that I had given my anxious friend, God had given to me.
When Jesus speaks of being perfect, He doesn’t mean by our own works. When we accept Jesus into our hearts, God doesn’t see our sin, He sees His son JESUS, perfect and blameless. We have Christ within us. We become a new creation!
It dawn to me, what exactly is picking up the cross? And what did Jesus mean with “willing to lose his life”
Another verse that God had graciously given to me was “we will reap a harvest if we faint not.”
Those words I have been repeating to myself daily because to be honest it has been hard.
Not only was I overwhelmed with my first fashion show, which God had given me His amazing Grace to do and complete, Not only was I able to go to see Hillsong live (which is so awesome and incredible) with amazing Ladies in Christ. I also was hit with having to do a re-shoot because one of the photographers equipment had sadly been stolen. After thinking I can rest a bit. O_O
It was a blessing in disguise to meet these beautiful ladies of Roguemark photography
Which I met them in downtown Raleigh at a cool Coffee spot.
There were so many creative individuals in this one place it was redonkulous. Serious. I saw the director of CAM among others. Crazy, crazy creative.
I had a mini conversation with God.
I asked Him. “Lord, I have heard it said that you can either work in the flesh or in the spirit, I’m tired and overwhelm, does this mean that I’m working in the flesh?”
Then God had given to me this verse “you shall reap if you faint not” and with it it’s revelation.
This verse wasn’t put together for those who are rested. It was put together for those specifically who are tired as a reminder that if they do not give in they shall reap a reward.
It was almost as if God was saying to me it’s not going to be easy and you are going to have moments that you want to give up that’s why it is written the way it is because any one doing work will feel like giving up and it’s just a reminder not to.
Then I was rejuvenated by His love and how He just brings everything into perspective or should I say a different perspective.
Sometimes we can get to caught up in being in the situation and the pain. Losing sight of the truth and why we’re doing what we’re doing.
It’s all for His Glory, and yes you are going to feel days that you want to give up that you think you can’t go on. But remember you will reap a reward if you faint not.
For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. Psalm 84:11
We can often be deterred by what has not been done, by our mistakes and by time. Take heart, it doesn’t matter how many times you’ve fallen or the time that has gone by as long as you continue to strive to do what is right.
We’re not meant to stay the same or continue to stay stagnant. Look at the world around you. Many say that the world itself is a reflection of who we are. The truth is, we are WORLD Changers. We cannot allow our mere circumstances nor what the world says about humanity to determine who we are. Because the Creator of the Universe has gone before us in the name of Jesus to let us know who indeed we are meant to be. Allow yourself to be transformed by the renewing of your mind towards who GOD says you are, not who the world says you are, nor those around you. Because in the end we all give an account for our lives, we don’t go in as a group or a team effort. Remember what happened to Adam & Eve when they blamed others for their mistakes. With God all things are possible, and you can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. Don’t blame others for where you are or where you’re not. The truth is no matter what time has gone by, it’s never to late to be Extraordinary.
Keep your head up kid, you’re beautiful!
“For whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them.” Matthew 25:29
Appreciating what we do have allows us to also love GOD in a different way. Jesus says in Matthew 25:29 that whoever has will be given more. I believe when you say you have nothing when in reality GOD has provided more than you care to acknowledge you’re basically stating you do not need GOD. This also speaks volumes of who you are and what you care about.
When we start valuing what we do have, we start seeing the goodness of our Lord. This opens the pathways for more blessings. Today, stop looking at what you don’t have and start looking at what you do have, even if it’s only a Praise. Praise Him that He woke you up this morning, love Him for what He’s done in your life and for who He is. Be blessed and think not of the negatives but of the positives, and you will step into another dimension of blessings.
Because sometimes we don’t appreciate what we have until it’s gone and by then it’s to late.
Remember, you’re more than a conquer, God has not given you a spirit of fear but of POWER, LOVE & a Sound mind! There are always treasures in your life, you just have to open your eyes.
Video of the Day: I am the Lord
And being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground. Luke 22:44
Jesus was willing to lose in order to win.
You have to be willing to lose to win.
I didn’t understand this verse at first glance but this has been the verse that God has put on my heart and I now know what it implies.
In life in order for us to truly be able to have something truly, be it a relationship be it a business or any dream or aspirations. Some form or another we have to be willing to lose in order to gain.
You see what usually holds a person back from accomplishing their success or obtaining their reward is the fear of loss. The fear of losing because sometimes you have to lose, but only for a moment to actually win.
I know it doesn’t make any sense when you think about it in a worldly sense.
“Because if you aint first your last!” Hahaha Just Kidding (If you know who Ricky Bobby is then you shall understand that quote. But I digress)
Have you ever heard the quote:
“If you love something let it go & if it comes back then it’s yours”
In Life you’re going to face setbacks, you’re going to face difficulties that you, yourself may believe that you can’t. That you can’t take it, that you can’t handle it.
Take a look at Jesus and when His hour had come. Before He was pierced for our transgressions, crushed for our iniquities and confronted with what was to come, He prayed earnestly for the cup to pass from Him.
But HE was willing to Lose.
I love How Jesus says,
I chose these fabrics because they are from the Lost & Found Collection of Riley Blake. I thought they were beautiful and fitting for this message and the inspiration I have received this week.
Sometimes you can face fear, you can be afraid of whats to come. But it’s part of the process it’s something you have to go through.
In John 10:17 it says, “Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. ”
Jesus never asks us to do anything that He Himself hasn’t already done. He is truly the example of how we should live our lives.
We can not forget that we are made in His Image. He felt emotions, Anger, Sadness, Temptation, including grief and perhaps fear? I imagine He also laughed.
But because we feel these things doesn’t mean that anything is wrong. In fact it means you are alive. These emotions are indicators of what’s going on in our lives. In order to win, sometimes you gotta take the loss. Sometimes you have to pick up your cross go through the fire, the ridicule “Oh you’ll never amount to anything” or the “You can’t do that your too ‘weak’ your to'(Fill in the blank) ” But if you go through the testing of your heart, you will find a reward there.
Jesus rose up on the third Day. Your Day is just around the corner.
