PEP Talk! Ways to Love God.

“For whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them.” Matthew 25:29

 photo f1d33e35-0367-4680-ac5b-136f4b2f7ad0_zps9b98e63f.jpg

Appreciating what we do have allows us to also love GOD in a different way. Jesus says in Matthew 25:29 that whoever has will be given more. I believe when you say you have nothing when in reality GOD has provided more than you care to acknowledge you’re basically stating you do not need GOD. This also speaks volumes of who you are and what you care about.

Reassess your cares, your love.

When we start valuing what we do have, we start seeing the goodness of our Lord. This opens the pathways for more blessings. Today, stop looking at what you don’t have and start looking at what you do have, even if it’s only a Praise. Praise Him that He woke you up this morning, love Him for what He’s done in your life and for who He is. Be blessed and think not of the negatives but of the positives, and you will step into another dimension of blessings.

Because sometimes we don’t appreciate what we have until it’s gone and by then it’s to late.

Remember, you’re more than a conquer, God has not given you a spirit of fear but of POWER, LOVE & a Sound mind! There are always treasures in your life, you just have to open your eyes.

Until next Time! Ciao

Hosanna in the Highest!!!

For His Love & Glory,

One Pocketbook at a time… Peacock Love!

“I am the LORD, the God of all the peoples of the world. Is anything too hard for me? Jeremiah 32:27

I can’t help but love GOD! I’m nothing without God and I cannot do anything with out God.

Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. John 1:3

 photo IMG_6242_zps7cd2e1a4.jpg

During and after the making of this pocketbook I’ve gone through some ups and downs and I can’t believe the Goodness of the Lord and the necessity of completely trusting HIM and not relying on your self.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; Proverbs 3:5

 photo IMG_6229_zps52c190b2.jpg

This Bag represents FAITH. Blind Faith. RECKLESS FAITH!

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1

Sometimes in life we may face situations that look impossible, that look bleak and hopeless. You may face negative thoughts and things may look as though they are going sour.

 photo IMG_6227_zpsf0018a17.jpg

STOP and think about the GOODNESS of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ. Stop and think about the LOVE GOD has for you! The Creator of the Universe, Alpha and Omega, Beginning and the end Loves YOU!

All things are possible with GOD. Matthew 19:26

When I was creating this bag, it was completely put together by faith. Every detail was given to me by GOD. In every bag I ask God to help me create the bag perfect for whom it’s made for. That others that see the bag or carry the bag that they maybe blessed. This bag was done in a time that I was going through great transition. I was pregnant. 2 days after I had finished this wonderful Tailored Expressions, my water broke. When God does things, He does them perfectly…

 photo DSCF1442_zpsefef18f2.jpg

God is so incredible. I see now why this bag was made the way it was, and how it was put together. Although at the time I was extremely tired, I pushed through and I worked as best as I could with the alterations that GOD had given me while making it. I just trusted and had faith in GOD and the vision He gave me. I could of done it my way, but I decided to do it completely God’s way, even though it was a lot more work than if I had pieced it together on how I originally planned.

Note: Have enough faith to change directions.

I can’t help but think of Abraham and how GOD had told Abraham to blindly go somewhere Abraham had not ever ventured out to. He never questioned God. Even when he and Sarah were older and GOD promised him decedents. Still even when doubt came He had hope and believed in GOD’s promises.

He did not weaken in faith when he considered his own body, which was as good as dead (since he was about a hundred years old), or when he considered the barrenness of Sarah’s womb. Romans 4:19

Recklessly Believe in Your GOD! Have Reckless faith. Believe in the God of the Impossible.

Abram believed the LORD, and he credited it to him as righteousness. Genesis 15:6

I believe, believing, having faith, as Abraham did (God changed Abram name to Abraham, God has a tendency of changing names, the power of a name. Abram means “exalted father” and Abraham means “father of many”)

Sometimes God is going to ask from us things that seem impossible. God will ask us to have unconditional Faith in Him.

That’s what I believe, GOD is asking each one of us when we go through a trial, when we go through a difficulty. Do you trust HIM?

We cannot forget the blood of Christ and the POWER it has purchased! You have been Redeemed! Don’t believe in the doubt, don’t believe in those negative thoughts, God’s mercies are new each day! HALLELUJAH!

 photo IMG_6238_zps2bad971e.jpg

To the Owner of this Pocketbook…

HAVE FAITH. Have the faith that moves mountains, that keeps you at peace that surpasses all understanding. Forget about what it looks like forget about the negativity of it. Think about how GREAT how POWERFUL your GOD is. Nothing is impossible for Him no matter what lies the Devil tries to throw at you. Fight the Good fight of Faith and Trust GOD, Pass the test and you will see how God will bless you in incredible ways. Forget about the fear you may feel or what ever negative feelings that may pass as waves. When you are in the Storm, remember you have the one who stills the waters.

When Jesus woke up, he rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Silence! Be still!” Suddenly the wind stopped, and there was a great calm. Mark 4:39

Hosanna in the Highest!!!

For His Love & Glory,

One Pocketbook at a Time….My Baby Bag!

But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. James 1:4

 photo DSCF1308_zps13d1454c.jpg

As I was constructing this baby bag for moi, I couldn’t help but also reflect on every bag I’ve made since this point. Each bag has it’s own personality and that’s another reason why their own story is attached to it. Because with each bag, miracles happen. With each bag I go through trials and tribulations. With each bag I have to face my fears and doubts.

 photo DSCF1305_zpsc9a908eb.jpg

With this bag in particular I came to a point that I’ve come to with many of my creations. Why am I doing this? This is so hard! It Hurts! Seriously I get stabbed by needles at least 20 times each session more or less. I bleed with each bag. Yes those pins are no joke!

I suffer with each bag and I have to work tremendously hard with each bag.

 photo DSCF1286_zps28dc9db0.jpg

But you know what keeps me going? Do you know what fuels me? Jesus, knowing if I get through, what ever challenge I’m facing, whether it’s the piecing or the zipper or even the fit, I know, by the grace of God, it will look AMAZING! It will Glorify HIM.

I have faith.

For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. James 2:26

And I guess that’s why it may say in scripture to be patient, to rejoice during trials and tribulations because the truth is, your Blessing is just around the corner. Don’t give up!

Because once those thoughts come to my mind of doubt and questioning my love for this, that’s when I’m almost done, that’s when much of the hard work is done but It has to come together and that coming together is what hurts the most.

It’s only fitting that these thoughts came to me with this bag, because this is my Diaper bag, my Hospital bag and my travel bag it’s an awesome size! I say that it’s fitting because the greatest pain that I will face in being pregnant is right before I receive my miracle. Right before the world is blessed with my baby boy!

A woman giving birth to a child has pain because her time has come; but when her baby is born she forgets the anguish because of her joy that a child is born into the world. John 16:21

At the end when everything is done and I push myself…the joy of what I see, all done and finished, is unsurpassed.

 photo DSCF1341_zps2d431416.jpg

To the Readers of this wonderful Diaper/Baby/Hospital bag:

I’d just like to say. Yes life is going to throw you some curve balls. You’re going to ask in the midst of your troubles “Lord where is the Good in this? I can’t see it” ( I asked that question my self after trying several times to get the right fit of the zipper! Sorry I just had to vent 😀 ) But the truth is your blessing is just around the corner Your, recovery is at hand.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 1 Peter 1:3

Until Next time! Ciao!

Hosanna in the Highest!!!

For His Love & Glory,

At The Shop! Teal Blue Patchwork Tote

A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. Psalm 91:7

GOD is so Awesome He knows how to cheer us up!!! Yesterday was the Hubby’s B-day and He says He’s 22 forever. Haha, I will respect his wishes and I will not say his age. Yes so it was a good day and we had agreed to not buy any gifts but I did make him a card and a wallet :D. Although he’s asked for a few add-ons and I will be hitting the drawing board to give him a better prototype :). He makes me better.

 photo DSCF0848_zps869ebd41.jpg

However this post is about the new Bag at the Shop! To be honest, I love this bag, maybe I’m biased because I love every bag I make but hey, I can’t help it if I see God’s miracles in each bag!

 photo DSCF0854_zps0187890f.jpg

I’ve noticed that in each creation I make, God has a story, a whisper or a word and I just can’t help but share. It’s amazing and I do love going back and reading some of them. They are so encouraging and sometimes I need a lift me up!

This bag just represents to me, Perseverance! Because it’s not about just staying passive and not doing anything. It’s about Going through the storm and doing all you can to stay afloat even if it’s just praying, or staying positive.

It says in the word:

The way of the sluggard is blocked with thorns, but the path of the upright is a highway. Proverbs 15:9

 photo DSCF0856_zps03f5e4c8.jpg

It hasn’t been easy but it’s been worth it. Being a momma to be, being preggers you go through so many ups and downs. And just because I’m tired doesn’t mean to just give up and not do anything.

On the contrary, the Blessing is going to come regardless of what I do. This baby is coming no matter what, but if I’m diligent in trying to work out, so that I may have a smoother delivery, pulling my weight around the house, allowing PEACE to breathe, continue to pursue my dream and finish as much as I can to prepare for my baby boy while also praying that all will go as God wants it to go, knowing He loves me, although it’s difficult at times, it’s so worth it. Just knowing I’m giving my all for God, for my family for my dreams. It’s amazing. Just like a workout where you pushed your limits and you know you did all you could, you ran as far &  as fast as you could.

Nothing can replace that feeling. Sometimes you gotta get uncomfortable to feel good. You gotta do what you know is right even when it’s hard, even when it hurts, to receive a reward. The reward of Peace, of knowing you Can even when it seems impossible. Of trusting GOD all the way through and not giving up because the Blessing is Coming, but how will you receive it? Would you even recognize the blessing? Or would that blessing be a burden? A burden because you haven’t prepared the way for it to arrive smoothly? Just food for thought.

And although I was working on my fall collection, on other business endeavors, business owner responsibilities on top of being pregnant & a wife, I finished what I dreamed I would finish, to have a bag in my shop! Yes! This first bag, which has so much detail and so much work behind it. I hope the owner of this wonderful Tote not only appreciates something made by hand but also appreciates the materials and the will to fight to make what seems impossible possible.

 photo DSCF0859_zpsefbf36f9.jpg

The materials made in this bag is from up cycled materials. This is an Eco-friendly Bag. GOD gives Beauty for ashes. What we do can not ever be enough but God transforms the smallest sacrifices into great treasures.

Hosanna in the Highest!!!

For His Love & Glory,

GOD and the City… A Fathers Love

For the LORD corrects those he loves, just as a father corrects a child in whom he delights. Proverbs 3:12

Hallelujah Praise GOD! Thank you JESUS!

These last couple of months have been, AMAZING. I had an opportunity to have an ad on this new Magazine called Twilia,

Check it out Here:

Another Ad in Promote Handmade:

So thankful that GOD is placing the right people in my life and the right circumstances and inspirations.

Yes, sure there are ups and downs like all things, I love how this one woman said in a Networking meeting I attended this month…

“Everyone is either going through a Crisis, coming out of a Crisis or walking into a Crisis.”

Well put. I love How GOD just challenges us, how HE uses HIS fire! To consume all of our impurities to make us whole and pure.

At times we may feel as though there is just to much pressure upon us, Lord knows I go through this as well and I always repeat to myself these words,

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” – Jesus ( Matthew 11:28)

These last few weeks I had been going through a few trials. And on top of all the mess, I blew out a tire on the freeway! Yes! The FREEWAY!

O_O   uh-huh, I know…

It was indeed crazy and because the car was pulling to the left so I also pulled over to the left. Yes,…I know, I know… you all can just imagine how hectic it was. At that point I had to make a decision…I can either let the weight of the world just crush me with this one flat tire, call a pick up truck and add more financial pressure onto my life…

or I can do my Best and allow GOD to do the rest…

I’m soooo thankful to Christ JESUS that I chose the latter. I got out of my car, opened the trunk and read the instructions on how to release the spare I had underneath the car. I called my friend whom I was on my way to meet and let them know the situation. Thank you friend, for also just being heaven sent! Hallelujah!

I then began to lift up the car with the car jack. As I was in the process of doing this someone had pulled over…

They were so nice and helpful! They had noticed and said that the spare did not have enough air to go anywhere and they even went out, came back with 2 fix a flat cans!

It was just enough to get to the gas station, and get this, this gas station also had free air! Praise GOD! WooHooo! Hallelujah Thank you JESUS! (It’s the little things…) My friend also came right on time to have lunch and unwind on some Bo-jangles. 🙂

After the whole situation It all came into perspective, a life lesson. You can either stay where you are with a flat or you can do your best and GOD will do the rest. HE will make sure you get safely on and to your Journey. You have to be Courageous! Have faith.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:1

So I am asking you, are you just going to sit there with a flat? Or are you going to get up and get moving!

Hosanna in the Highest!!!

For His Love and Glory,

Our people must learn to devote themselves to doing what is good, in order that they may provide for daily necessities and not live unproductive lives. (NIV) Titus 3:14

Our people must learn to do good by meeting the urgent needs of others; then they will not be unproductive. (NLT) Titus 3:14
