36 weeks!

Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, Philippians 3:13

 photo DSCF1264_zps4591b23d.jpg

WOW! 36 weeks is no joke, and I’m definitely feeling uncomfortable. But Glory be to God, I’m thankful! Indeed. These next few weeks I have noticed are going to be a time of perseverance. Help me Jesus.

I hear a many times, from other mothers that I should take advantage of this time and sleep and rest. I feel like, with all that’s going on I need to take advantage of this time and get done what needs getting done! To push my self a bit because I want to enjoy the time with my baby boy a bit uninterrupted, even if I’m exhausted I know that my full attention will be on him!

I’ve noticed in life many people are going to come and tell you what they think you should do and what they believe it’d be best for you and usually this is in every area of your life. And although I respect and love these people I’ve learned you need to listen to that still small voice. You know, your Gut. You need to listen inside of yourself and do what you know you must do.

In life, people sometimes just want to see you a certain way and when you start changing and growing into who YOU want to become, who GOD made you to be, sometimes it’s hard for them to handle.

NOTE: Stop looking at whats behind you, stop looking at your past & stop looking towards other people to confirm where you need to go or what to do. In the end you will live with your decisions NOT THEM. So know you have the capacity to make the tough decisions! You have the capacity to do what you’re meant to do, that’s why you’re where you’re at, not them.

Lately...It’s been difficult sleeping, it’s not the waking up and going to the bathroom, it’s the having to sit up because it’s difficult to breath when I lay down for a while 😦  God give me the Grace!

Cravings? Sometimes, certain foods, Note to self: STAY AWAY FROM POPCORN!

Pain? Yes! Especially at night, feels like I got a 24/7 belly ache 😦 . But thank you Jesus I know my baby boy is going to be Healthy!!! In Jesus name!

What they say? “I thought you’d have your baby by now!” Nope September 15

Feeling? Unfortunately tired. But I’m asking God each day to give me the strength to accomplish all that it is I need to accomplish!

Comparison is the thief of Joy, We all have our journey to make. And just like in pregnancy different moms go through different things, Some have it easier than others Some have it harder. Some give birth sooner, some later. But all in all, all of them know that their bundle of Joy is coming and they each prepare their own way.

God & the City… 23 Weeks!

Then the LORD your God will make you most prosperous in all the work of your hands and in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your land. The LORD will again delight in you and make you prosperous, just as he delighted in your ancestors Deuteronomy 30:9

You know I truly believe that all our blessings come from the Lord. It’s just amazing how He has you covered when you just give it all to Him.

Lately…Although I’m pregnant and it seems that weight may be an issue, which I admit there are some moments, being that I’m a woman who used to work out 3-4 times a week, that I would love to run a few miles and get in some heavy cardio, but what I’m currently working on is confidence. Confidence that only comes form JESUS CHRIST. But LORD willing I will be in that Gym this week!

Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised. Proverbs 31:30

Cravings? WATERMELON! FRUITS, Veggies need I say more?

Pain? A few hip pains here and there, light low back pain but all in all…I feel good ♪♪♫

What they say? “Oh Linda, your legs“…Family, they can be a little candid at times. So, Yea um I gain weight on my bottom half more than anything. But thank you Jesus that I feel AMAZING!

Feeling? Motivated.

So here’s a lil sneak peak on a before and after pic…of course I’m still not done but, slowly but surely! I can do all things through Christ who Strengthens me! Phil 4:13

Finally getting the apartment into a Home lil by lil. Thank you Jesus!

Check out this little rap skit. I’m a lover of Hip-Hop what can I say…

“No Chorus is neccessary…We’re Victorious”!

haha!

I’m finding that, being confident is not only in our appearance but in how we express ourselves and what we do. How do you Express yourself?

Until Next time Ciao!

P.S. I love my Husband and I truly love that he has something he loves and enjoys. Since it was raining at his game last night it ended early and we saw Iron Man 3 last  night and I love what Iron man says “Every body needs a hobby” Some people have a hobby others make their hobby their work.

God & the City… 22 Weeks!

Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked. Psalm 84:10

Jesus Comforts His Disciples

1Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in Goda; trust also in me. 2In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. 3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4You know the way to the place where I am going.

Jesus the Way to the Father

5Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?”

6Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7If you really knew me, you would knowb my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.

8Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.”

9Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you are not just my own. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. 11Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the miracles themselves. 12I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. 14You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit

15If you love me, you will obey what I command. 16And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever— 17the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will bec in you. 18I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. 19Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. 20On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. 21Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him.

22Then Judas (not Judas Iscariot) said, “But, Lord, why do you intend to show yourself to us and not to the world?”

23Jesus replied, “If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. 24He who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.

25All this I have spoken while still with you. 26But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. 27Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

28You heard me say, ‘I am going away and I am coming back to you.’ If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I. 29I have told you now before it happens, so that when it does happen you will believe. 30I will not speak with you much longer, for the prince of this world is coming. He has no hold on me, 31but the world must learn that I love the Father and that I do exactly what my Father has commanded me.

Come now; let us leave.
