As I was making these wonderful creations I was coming out of a rest, (Thank God for Holidays such as Thanksgiving! Amen). You see, this thanksgiving I decided to rest….well not by choice, (cough…I got sick) Yes I admit it! I got sick! 😦 Yes….Feel Compassion and empathy for me. ♥ hehe
for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from his. Hebrews 4:1
In working and owning my own business (wearing all the hats) and seriously striving for perfection and victory every time, thank the Lord we delegate from a position of Victory, Hallelujah, we, I, can at times go over board. Yes overboard. Putting unnecessary pressure on the mind and body.
By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. Genesis 2:2
Even GOD rested!!! Amen! In conclusion, this is how important it is for us to rejuvenate ourselves with the Lord’s Peace and Rest.
So As I clarify my point on the Importance of Rest, have you considered the benefits of rest?
And God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done. Genesis 2:3
After Resting, Comes…the Blessing.
Although, it wasn’t part of the plan to fall a bit ill. I’m so thankful that I was given the opportunity to receive some much needed help even though it came in the form of what I perceived was a hindrance, actually allowed and gave me the opportunity to rest, to be refreshed and truly go towards another level. ♥ Another level of Blessings! 😀
For the Owner of these wonderful creations…
…I implore you, REST. At times we may look at our schedule and find it scribbled with so much to do and so little time to do it. Don’t forget, that even GOD rested during great times of creative moments and Blessings came right after the rest. I encourage you, Rest with the knowledge that all IS in GOD’s hands and yes He does want you to work with all that you are especially for HIM, but he also Blesses the period after the REST. So Rest assured in GOD’s Mercy and Grace. In Jesus Name, AMEN!
