God & the City… Rainy Days.

He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. Matthew 5:45

Hellllllo and Good day! Phew! So much has transpired since the last time we’ve interacted 🙂 I just gotta take a praise brake!

HALLELUJAH!

Rainy Days? Well today where we’re  at, it’s a snowy day. It snowed last night! Isn’t that awesome! Thankful that North Carolina does not snow like Upstate New York! I praise you Jesus!

As you  may have read in my previous post I’m going through a Re-brand of Natural True Beauty, and it’s not without pain.

There are moments we can feel that we are doing everything we believe that is required by God to live a blessed life. We may even look at the other side of the fence and ask God, “Lord those people live in sin, why is their grass green and mine hasn’t even started to bud!” hehe or something in that form. Or “God, they don’t even go to church and you gave them everything I asked for!” Or “Why…Lord haven’t I received my blessings!!” (and you shake your fist, or not)

We all get the benefits of basking in the sun and going through the storms of life. We all live and go through life! Yes we can rely and hold on to the promises of GOD, but we can’t sit on our high horse and judge the grass on the other side. When we don’t know what they have sown, where they are in their lives or what they do behind the closet. (maybe pray?)

Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Galatians 6:7-9

One thing I’ve learned the hard way,

You can’t look at whats going on, on the other side of the fence.

You have to tend to your own garden, guided by the grace of GOD! If not your grass will not be green let alone bud.

The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. Mathew 7:25

No matter what anyone is doing or not doing, remember when you wait and trust in GOD you are building your House on the ROCK!

I loved this verse:

“Who is this that obscures my plans with words without knowledge? Brace yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer me. “Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation? Tell me, if you understand. Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know! Who stretched a measuring line across it? Job 38:2-5

We can’t begin to understand GOD, nor His plans for us but we certainly can rest and be assured that HE loves us so much that He’s written it down for us, He’s sent His son to die for us and He’s suffered for US.

So stop looking at the other’s house, because you never know when a rainy day will come.

Question GOD? What if God questions you?

Be Blessed. ♥
